It's all fun and games....

'Til the dog chews the hose off the spigot! Before our water supply was interrupted, the kids had a fun afternoon spraying each other with water rockets and "washing" down the van. (I think it's actually a littler dirtier than before, but it was fun!) We rounded out the day with some good ole watermelon. Thankful to spend a sunny day with a cousin!

Cheesing!

We spent another afternoon geocaching (Bryce called it cheesing?!) downtown. Our adventure was fun, this time we found a box with puzzles and trinkets.
No trip is complete without a pic to chronicle our adventures, but trying to get a picture of our whole crew holding the camera is near bout impossible. However, some nice passerby offered to take a shot:)

Bryce's sayings

Last night while eating steaks at dinner, he moves a piece of gristle off to one side. "I'm not eating that", he says sincerely "it's cows ass!".

Our first geocaching adventure!

I've been wanting to go geocaching for quite some time but can never seem to remember when we are out. Today was a quiet day, so after lunch we decided to give it a try. Our first look was a dud (probably operator error) then eureka! We found it! Kids walked quite a distance without even realizing it-all agreed we wanted to do it again. Guess we'll pull out the cache dictionary and learn all the terms before our next adventure...what's a muggle anyway?!?

Around the table

Bryce: Dear Jesus, thank you that Oma is in heaven. Help her to have fun. Oh yeah, thank you for our food. Amen.

Valentines Day 2012

Some weeks I have trouble figuring out what to post, but this week has been busy..enough for 3 or 4 posts! Our Valentine's day started yesterday with some good friends at the park after recorder class. Of course the kids needed something to pass out; yeah for the handy dandy computer which gave us so many choices, deciding which one to make was the hard part. In the end each made something different. A bouncy ball from Aidan, Star
Wars from Bryce and a cool iPod made from sweet tarts and Hershey's kisses from Shelby.

Children's museum of the Treasure Coast

Since this weekend was too rainy to play outside, Gage was gracious enough to take us to a favorite spot of his. This cute museum kept even the big kid (dad) amused. Under one roof a complete town and giant ship could be found. Shelby found 3 jobs to work at, Aidan just filled his shopping cart! Thank you Gage for sharing the fun!
